Later, My Love began with a simple idea: to create a tangible link between your past self and your future self. This unique letter service is designed to deliver comfort, reflection, and warmth when you need it most.
Can you guarantee an exact delivery date?
Unfortunately, I have not yet acquired control over Canada Post or the passage of time. If you choose a specific month, I will time the mailing to give it the best chance of arriving within that month, but an exact date cannot be guaranteed.
How does the letter writing process work?
You have three lovely options. You can write your own letter. I will then print it on my finest paper and mail it when the time is right. Don't know what to write? You can share details about what you're experiencing, and I'll craft a custom letter for your future self. You can also subscribe to monthly love letters at your doorstep.
Will you read my letter?
Anything you share is used only to fulfil your order. Outside of that, your words and story stay confidential.
Is my letter kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your words are deeply personal, and will always be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. Your letter once prepared, is stored securely until its mailing date.
What happens if my address changes?
Contact info@latermylove.ca as soon as possible with your order information and new address. If it was mailed, it will be resent to your new address. Extra charges may apply.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Yes. International shipping is available and the applicable rate will appear at checkout. Please note that all international orders take longer to arrive.
Can I cancel my order or receive a refund?
Because every order is personal and prepared individually, all sales become final once preparation or writing has begun. Mailed orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact info@latermylove.ca as soon as possible.
What if my letter is delayed or lost?
Postal delays can happen, if your letter has not reached you within the selected time limit, please contact info@latermylove.ca for help.
Can I give this experience as a gift?
Absolutely. You can write a letter for someone you love, have me write one especially for them or give them the strange and wonderful experience of writing to their own future. Include their name and mailing address with the order, specify it as a gift in the comments and I will take it from there.
Can I order more than one letter?
Of course. Send multiple for one month or one for every month. Each letter will travel on its own little journey, so please submit each one separately with its chosen mailing time. Want a monthly personalised letter? Contact info@latermylove.ca for more information.
What surprise might find me inside?
If I told you, it would be significantly less surprising. It might be a handwritten fortune, an affirmation, a quote tucked into a bookmark, a cute sticker, a silly doodle, a few lines from a poem or a small secret between me and your future self. The final choice belongs to the universe ( and me ;) - part of the said universe)
What if I have no idea what to write?
Write the first word, soon enough more will follow. You don't need to plan the whole letter to write it. If you get stuck, the written for you option exists for exactly that :)
