Our Services

Depending on the service selected, you will either provide a completed letter for us to mail later or provide personal information for a letter to be written for you.

Your letter will be mailed on a surprise date during your selected month. The exact mailing date will not be disclosed. Mailing during the selected month is guaranteed; arrival during that month is not, as delivery times depend on the postal service.

Orders and Payment

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is due in full when the order is placed. Applicable taxes and shipping costs will be displayed before payment.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact, letter and delivery information. Please contact info@latermylove.ca as soon as possible if anything needs to be corrected. Changes cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment has begun.

Promotions

Promotions apply only during the dates and under the eligibility conditions stated with each offer. Unless otherwise specified, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied to previous orders. When a promotion expires, the regular price displayed at checkout will apply.

Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

You may cancel your order for a full refund within seven days of purchase, provided fulfilment has not begun. Fulfilment begins when a customer-provided letter is printed or prepared, or when work begins on a personalized Written For You letter.

Because each order is personal and prepared for a specific mailing period, cancellations and refunds are unavailable after fulfilment begins. To request a cancellation or change, email info@latermylove.ca with your name and order details. If Later, My Love cancels an unfulfilled order, you will receive a full refund.

Letter Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit and give Later, My Love limited permission to access, store, reproduce and mail it solely to fulfil your order.

Letters must not contain hate speech, threats, harassment, unlawful content, sexually exploitative material or anything intended to harm the recipient. We may refuse or cancel an order that violates these conditions and will notify you and refund the unfulfilled order.

Later, My Love is a personal writing and mailing service. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy matters deeply to us. Letters and personal information are accessed only as reasonably necessary to prepare your order, resolve delivery concerns, protect safety, comply with the law or operate the service through essential providers such as website, payment and postal services. We do not sell your information or share your letter, photograph, excerpt or testimonial publicly without your express permission.

Physical letters are stored securely until mailing. Where a digital copy exists, it is retained for no more than 60 days after mailing to assist with possible delivery issues and is then permanently deleted. Order, payment and administrative records may be retained separately where reasonably required for legal, tax or business purposes.

Mailing and Delivery

We take reasonable care when preparing and mailing every letter. However, we cannot guarantee postal delivery dates or accept responsibility for delays, loss or damage caused by the postal service, an incorrect or incomplete address, an inaccessible delivery location or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If a letter is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we will attempt to contact you. Re-mailing may require payment of an additional shipping fee.

Liability and Governing Law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Later, My Love is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from postal delays, non-delivery or the personal use or interpretation of a letter. Our total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order.

The version of these terms in effect when you order will apply to that order. Later changes will not retroactively alter an existing order.
